A win! A much needed win. With their backs against the wall, with pressure on Daboll heating up, the Giants notched a win to maybe save the season. Daniel Jones was better vs a weak WAS defense. Yet it was not enough. Washington pounded the ball down the Giants’ throats and the Giants could not stop it. 35 carries for 215 yards. 6.1 yards per carry. Daniels 23/29. What did the Giants in was Graham Gano. It’s unfair to bench any QB after Week 1. Or is it? Daniel Jones, according to former 2021 teammate Kyle Rudolph, is shell-shocked… his “confidence looks completely destroyed.” Rudolph barely recognizes the QB from the 2022 playoffs.
