Kodai Senga and Tylor Megill are on the roster.
The Mets have announced their roster for the National League Division Series against the Phillies, and there are just two changes from the Wild Card roster that the team deployed against the Brewers.
- Additions: Kodai Senga, Tylor Megill
- Subtractions: Huascar Brazobán, Max Kranick
Kodai Senga is slated to start Game 1 of the series this afternoon in Philadelphia. And Megill likely would have been included on the Mets’ Wild Card roster if he hadn’t needed to make a start in their doubleheader in Atlanta on Monday.
With that, the Mets are carrying six starting pitchers to begin the series. It would seem that Senga wouldn’t be able to go deep into a start, at least not his first one of the postseason, and that most or all of the six pitchers will appear in this series. The full NLDS roster is below.
