Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (3-7)
LEHIGH VALLEY 4, SYRACUSE 2 (BOX)
Syracuse managed to lose 4-2 and also have zero RBI as a team, which is kind of impressive despite the loss. They went down 3-0 within the first three innings, as Blade Tidwell has struggled to find it after a very interesting spring. Their first run came on a balk in the third, and their second run was chased home on a Joey Meneses double play, but their offense was as cold as the northeastern weather this week.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (1-2)
GAME ONE: HARTFORD 4, BINGHAMTON 0 / 7 (BOX)
After yesterday’s game got postponed because the weather out there is frightful (it was about 20 degrees in Binghamton), the Ponies played two games today. And they did not go well.
Game one saw them get three hits. The coolest thing that happened was Jett Williams absolutely smoking a double over the center fielders head to keep his hot start to the season going.

GAME TWO: HARTFORD 5, BINGHAMTON 3 (BOX)
Game two was more exciting, but the end result was the same. Binghamton actually led this game twice — 1-0 in the first inning, on the back of a Ryan Clifford single, and 3-1 on a William Lugo two run single.
The pitching had a weird go of it. Jonah Tong got the ball and only surrendered two hits, but walked five, hit a batter, and gave up three runs in four innings. Joshua Cornielly gave up two to take the loss. Luis Moreno was good in relief, a small silver lining to the game.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (4-1)
HUDSON VALLEY 7, BROOKLYN 2 (BOX)
Brooklyn finally lost, falling to 4-1 on the season after a 7-2 loss where the bullpen really let the game get away from them. Offensively they were not that bad, collecting seven hits and five walks, but they took after their Major League counterparts by going 1-14 with runners in scoring position and leaving ten men on base. It is hard to win games that way, as one would imagine.
Boston Baro hit his first home run of the year and Eli Serrano kept up his good start to the season (though sprinkled in three strikeouts), both of which were the clear highlights on the dat.
Jonathan Santucci made his organizational debut after being drafted in the second round out of Duke last draft, and performed amicably. He only went four innings and gave up six hits, but limited the damage to two runs and did not walk anyone, striking out five. The Renegades did most of their damage off of Ben Simon, dropping four of their seven runs on him.
- SS Boston Baro: 2-4, R, HR, 2 RBI, BB, E (1)
- DH Jacob Reimer: 0-5, 2 K

Single-A: St. Lucie Mets (2-3)
ST. LUCIE 13, LAKELAND 8 / 11 (BOX)
This game had everything. First of all, Francisco Alvarez started the game behind the plate and played five innings behind the plate. He went 1-3 (with a throwing error that forced in a run), hitting the ball over 105 MPH twice, including a 108 MPH single, which everyone reading will love to see.
Now, onto the game.
The Mets ran out to a 2-0 lead in the second, scoring on a wild pitch and a Willy Fanas single. Lakeland got one back in the bottom of the frame on the aforementioned Alvarez throwing error, and scored two in both the third and fourth to push their lead to 5-2.
That score would hold until the eighth, when A.J. Ewing would get the comeback rolling with an RBI double. A Trey Snyder sac fly and a Trace Willhoite single tied the game at five apiece.
They would go into extras tied at five. Ewing doubled in a run again in the tenth, and got singled home by Willhoite to make it 7-5 in the tenth. A two-run home run by Lakeland in the bottom of the frame would keep it going, but the big inning for St. Lucie was coming.
Jeremy Rodriguez got the scoring in 11th started with an RBI single, with the bases getting loaded when Vincent Perozo reached on catcher’s interference. Colin Houck pinch hit for Jesus Baez and promptly unloaded the bases with a double. The Bash Brothers, A.J. Ewing and Trace Willhoite drove in runs with a single and triple respectively, to put the icing on the cake for this game.
