Meet the Mets
The Mets won 10-5 against the Marlins in a sloppy game played in bitterly cold and windy weather. Every starter other than Tyrone Taylor got a hit, with Pete Alonso going 2-for-4 with 4 RBI. Clay Holmes went 5.1 innings, allowing four earned runs on five hits and three walks, with ten strikeouts on his ledger as well.

Steve Gelbs had some fun during the game today handing out hot chocolate to those fans braving the weather and attending in the blistering cold.
Jeff McNeil traveled to Florida today to begin ramping up to rehab from his oblique injury, hopefully coming back to the major league team by the end of the month.
