Meet the Mets
The Mets train kept on rolling Tuesday afternoon with a postseason victory over the Phillies in front of the Citi Field faithful. Sean Manaea had a masterful performance, pitching into the 8th inning, while Pete Alonso and Jesse Winker hit monstrous home runs off Aaron Nola before the offense once again got to the Phillies bullpen. Ryen Stanek closed out the game to give the Mets a 7-2 win, who are now just one win away from advancing to the NLCS.
