New York returns from the All-Star break looking to start their postseason push with a win.
I see you grew your beard out over the All-Star break. Looks good on you. Boy, it feels like weeks since the Knicks’ last game: a narrow overtime win versus the Hawks eight days ago that saw 297 points scored. It’s hard to believe the scoreboard will reach such heights again when a well-rested (we hope) New York club (36-18) hosts the struggling Chicago Bulls (22-33) at Madison Square Garden tonight.
This marks their first meeting since the Bulls traded Zach LaVine to the Sacramento Kings. Chicago, allowing 120.7 points per game (second-worst in the NBA), are riding a four-game losing streak. Hence, the Knicks, averaging 124.5 points over their last 10 contests, are heavily favored against Nikola Vucevic, Josh Giddey, and whoever plays for Chicago these days.
Tip-off is 7:30 pm EST on MSG and NBA League Pass. This is your game thread. This is Blog a Bull. Please don’t post large photos, GIFs, or links to illegal streams in the thread. Mind yo’ manners. Go Knicks!
