Julius Randle will undergo season-ending surgery on his right shoulder.
Randle has been out since dislocating his shoulder on Jan. 27. Randle had worked on rehabilitating the injury, but continued instability in the shoulder made it unsafe for him to play again this season. Randle had hoped to avoid surgery.
Randle’s surgery is expected to allow for a full recovery and return around the start of the 24-25 season.
