P.J. Tucker’s second 10 Day contract with the New York Knicks expired on Sunday. In order for the Knicks to keep Tucker, they’d need to sign him for the remainder of the season.
At this point, it seems like New York is going to leave their final roster spot open. However, there is a chance Tucker could return to the Knicks by the end of the regular season. The deadline for teams to sign players is on the final day of the regular season on April 13.
New York doesn’t have an obvious two-way player to sign to a standard deal, so that leaves room open for Tucker to return. The Knicks could also wait to see if a need opens up at another position instead.
