Ben Simmons sat out the Brooklyn Nets’ loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night with a knee contusion.
Simmons recently returned after missing 12 weeks due to a nerve impingement in his lower back.
Simmons had 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists before landing awkwardly in his return against the Jazz.
“He’ll be day-to-day going forward. Had an MRI, no structural damage, which was good. Had some swelling in that knee. You saw the play in the fourth, good block, went up and blocked the shot, but he’s got some swelling in the knee,” said Jacque Vaughn.
