The Brooklyn Nets announced that Ben Simmons will miss the remainder of the regular season due to a lower back impingement. The Nets said Simmons and his representatives will work with Brooklyn’s medical personnel about the best way to treat him moving forward for long-term sustainable health.
Simmons appeared in only 15 games this season. Last season, Simmons played in 42 games for the Nets. He missed the entire previous season while holding out with the Philadelphia 76ers, and then rehabbing with Brooklyn.
