The Nets haven’t offered any update on Bogdanovic’s progress. A source said one isn’t expected until next month. “I saw him on the court shooting [Wednesday]. But playing 5-on-5 and in a real game, he’s progressing well. We’re not gonna give an exact date, but he’s doing good,” Fernandez said. “He’s in good spirits, he had a good week. He was with us on the road. Having him around is important because he’s a veteran. He’ll talk in huddles, he gives guys tips on what to do and his involvement is very important.”

Erik Slater: Jordi Fernandez on Bojan Bogdanovic’s rehab progress: “He’s progressing well. We’re not gonna give an exact date, but he’s doing good. He’s in good spirits, he had a good week, he was with us on the road. Having him around is very important because he’s a veteran and he’ll talk in huddles, he gives the guys all these tips on what to do during the games. His involvement is very important. To me, that means that he’s working, he cares, and whenever he’s physically ready, he’ll be good for us. I’m very happy to have him around. I’ve known him since when he was a little kid, he played for Real Madrid, then he came to the NBA… I’m very excited to get to coach him.” -via Twitter @erikslater_ / November 13, 2024
Dennis Schröder, Dorian Finney-Smith, Bojan Bogdanović are all quality vets possessing sub-$20 million salaries and frequently mentioned by rival teams as players they expect to be moved between now and the Feb. 6 trade deadline. With first-year coach Jordi Fernandez clearly trying to win games, Brooklyn might have to ponder stripping down even earlier than it imagined. -via marcstein.substack.com / November 10, 2024
