Brooklyn Nets forward Bojan Bogdanovic will need a bit more time to recover some offseason surgery before fully taking part in training camp. Bogdanovic said he’s fully recovered from wrist surgery, but that he needs more time to heal from left foot surgery. That recovery will keep him out of 5-on-5 activities as camp begins.
The 35-year-old is in his second stint with the Nets, after being acquired as part of the deal that sent Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks. Bogdanovic struggled with both the wrist and foot injuries during the Knicks postseason run.
With an expiring contract of just over $19 million, Bogdanovic is expected to be available in trade form the rebuilding Nets. If Bogdanovic can prove he’s healthy, Brooklyn will likely look to move him to a playoff team that needs some extra perimeter help.
