As Brian Lewis reports, the scheduling of a game in southern California also means the team will be hold part of their training camp nearby. Three years ago, the first training camp for the “Big Three” of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden took and came days after Irving publicly announced he would get vaccinated against COVID-19.
That camp was held at the University of San Diego, near the LaJolla, Ca. home of Joe and Clara Wu Tsai, who held a big reception for the team at their home. No word on whether the Nets will be back at USD this season.
