Been a good week for Philly sports fans. Just not the Sixers.
It’s been quite the week for Philly sports fans… unless you’re looking the Philadelphia 76ers. They’ve lost four straight games and ESPN reported that Embiid feels that he needs another surgery and a long rest to fix his left knee. Meanwhile, the Nets are hot, but they are 15 games below .500 and they’re somehow within 2.5 games from the final play-in spot.
Safe to say, things are a work in progress (process?) for both teams. And the NBA.

Injury Report: No Cam Thomas, Bojan Bogdanovic, Noah Clowney, or DeAnthony Melton. Nic Claxton is questionable with an ankle sprain, but Maxwell Lewis, acquired in the D’Angelo Russell-for-Dorian Finney-Smith trade is available. It will be only his second game since the early January trade. He fractured his tibia in his first game.
No Joel Embiid (left knee), Tyrese Maxey (right knee), Eric Gordon (right wrist) and Kyle Lowry (right hip) as well as rookie Jared McCain (out for the season with a torn meniscus) are out. Night two of a back-to-back, ya know, but Paul George and Tyrese Maxey will be available.
The Game: With this being the second night of a back-to-back, the Nets should try to push the tempo as much as possible. The 76ers are tired, frustrated, and probably looking forward to a week off and away from basketball. This would be the night to spring an upset if you’re Brooklyn.
