Hello, old friend.
The Nets are currently OUT of the lottery. They just completed an improbable 18-point comeback against Golden State. And they’re the only East team with 5+ wins against the West. They ain’t that bad, folks. Then, we received some unfortunate news around noon.
Brooklyn Nets rising star Cam Thomas will miss three to four weeks due to a left hamstring strain, sources told ESPN. Thomas ranks 14th in the NBA in scoring, averaging career highs of 24.7 points on 46.1% shooting from the field and 38.9% from 3. pic.twitter.com/x0W20uCnAT

Back to tonight… it’s time to face an old friend who helped get us here (for better or worse): Kevin Durant.
Kevin Durant said he couldn’t have returned sooner from his left calf strain after seven games out, and was “grateful” for the Suns’ 5-day break to help him recover.
Durant later added “I’m a Net for life” when asked about facing his ex-team Nets in second of B2B on Wednesday. pic.twitter.com/3FmGWbGjdC
