Nets are back home! Going for a 4th straight win…
This west coast trip was like a parent sending their kid off to college, and the next time they see him/her, it’s almost like they’ve become a new person. One parent is unsure if they like the influence the college life has had on their kid. The other parent is thrilled to see their child living a new life.
That’s Brooklyn Nets fans after this trip. Their “child” (the Nets) won all three games — tough ones at that — against the Kings, Warriors, and Suns. But they finally have their own pick in a generational Draft! They go into Friday with a 9-10 record which is good enough for the 7-seed.
My college reference? Well, those who are the parent who’ve become skeptical about the college life… those are the tank commanders. Yeah, you! Those who are thrilled to see their child thriving? Those are the ones happy to see the Nets winning and in a better place than the past. Neither is right or wrong! Just enjoy the growth…

Game Preview | Brian Fleurantin
The game: Orlando won the first meeting in October. So what will the Nets do without Schroder this evening? Look for Tyrese Martin to get even more playing time. Martin had the game of his life on Wednesday as he hit for career highs in points (30) and 3-pointers made (eight). The Nets have figured things out even when you didn’t think they could, so it’ll be interesting to see what Jordi Fernandez and the guys do tonight.
Injuries: No Cam Thomas, Dayron Sharpe, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jaylen Martin or Noah Clowney and now Dennis Schroder is out as well due to personal reasons. Cam Johnson, Nic Claxton, Dorian Finney-Smith and Jalen Wilson are all questionable. Paolo Banchero and Gary Harris are out for Orlando.
