The Brooklyn Nets have been on summer vacation for some time now as they did not make the playoffs or the play-in tournament during the 2023-24 NBA season. Since then, the team has been reshaped in a major way as they traded Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks for mostly draft capital and re-signed center Nic Claxton to a near nine-figure deal.
On Tuesday, the Nets announced their preseason schedule for the 2024-25 season and similar to last season, they will begin their preseason away from Brooklyn. However, this time around, instead of the Nets playing their preseason game in Las Vegas when they took on the Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn will be going to California to take on the Los Angeles Clippers before embarking on the rest of their schedule to get ready for the regular season.
