The Brooklyn Nets are seeking multiple first round picks on the trade market for Cam Johnson. The Nets were previously seeking first round picks for Dennis Schroder and Dorian Finney-Smith, but settled for three second rounders apiece for the two players.
The Memphis Grizzlies were engaged in trade talks with the Nets on Finney-Smith and could pivot to a pursuit of Johnson. Memphis tried to package Konchar with Luke Kennard’s expiring contract in exchange for Finney-Smith.
Johnson is on a four-year, $94.5 million contract with the Nets.
