Amid the allegations and investigation into Michigan stealing signs from opponents, fans seem to recall something that Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano that could have been a sign something was off.
The Menace 2 Sports account on X shared a clip of Schiano’s halftime interview from this year’s Rutgers-Michigan game, where he seemed to suspect that something was going on. He wouldn’t say what it was, but sign stealing could certainly explain why he was so suspicious.
“Well, there’s some stuff going on out there so we just got to slow it down a little bit. There’s some things going on that aren’t right as well so we’ll talk about how to handle it… We’re in the game we just got to keep playing,” Schiano said.
At the time, any reasonable person would have thought he was referring to issues on his own team. But in this context, it makes you wonder if Schiano saw something that he felt he couldn’t comment on.

The NCAA has reportedly launched into investigation into Michigan over allegations of sign-stealing and alerted their Big Ten opponents.
That doesn’t seem to have an impact on any team’s willingness to play the No. 2 team in the nation – not now, anyway.
Will the NCAA find anything incriminating?
