Preston Edmead, a 5-foot-10 point guard out of Williston North Hampton (MA), has picked up an offer from Shaheen Holloway and Seton Hall.
Seton Hall’s staff started saw Edmead play back in April, and Holloway texted one of his coaches last week before offering.
“Holloway was a point guard so for me going I’d like going to a guard oriented school,” Edmead said in a phone interview. “They have a heritage of gritty guards and I think I can really fit well.”
“They’re [Seton Hall] saying that they like my game and they like my style,” he concluded.
The New York City native also picked up an offer from UAB recently.
“I see the same thing with UAB,” he said. “UAB just had Jordan Walker and Eric Gaines, just really good guards.”
Aside from Seton Hall and UAB, Edmead holds offers from Utah Tech, Manhattan, FDU and Bryant, UC Riverside, and Albany, among others.
Mississippi State, Rhode Island, and Iona, among others have also been involved.
Edmead has no visits planned at this time but wants to see all the schools that have offered so far.
