The Johnnies look to advance to Friday night of the Big East tournament for a second straight season
For the first time in more than two decades, St. John’s are truly contenders to win the Big East conference’s flagship event. The Red Storm’s first of what they hope will be three games this week comes versus the Butler Bulldogs in the Big East Tournament quarterfinal. The Bulldogs dispatched Providence in the first round on Wednesday afternoon, 75-69, never trailing the Friars once.
Welcome to the thread for Thursday’s St. John’s men’s basketball game versus Butler in the Big East tournament quarterfinal. The winner will face the victor of the Xavier vs. Marquette in the semifinal on Friday evening.
