Jenkins will make his Summer League debut this Saturday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m. against the 76ers on ESPN2
The NBA Summer League tips off this weekend in Las Vegas, and St. John’s will again have representation in the showcase event. All-Big East Second Team guard Daniss Jenkins will look to make a strong impression for the Detroit Pistons after signing a two-way deal with the club after this June’s NBA Draft. On Saturday night, Jenkins will make his Summer League debut as he and the Pistons will square off with the Philadelphia 76ers (7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN2).
All 30 Summer League teams will play at least five games, including four from July 12 to July 19. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs, where they will compete in the semifinals on Sunday, July 21. The two winning teams will meet the next day on Monday, July 22. The 26 teams who did not advance to the playoffs will play a fifth game on July 20 or 21.

In the 2023-24 season, Jenkins’ only season for St. John’s, he averaged 14.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.4 assists and shot 44.6% from the field, 35.4% from three, and 85.1% from the free-throw line in 33 games.
