Former Oregon State wing Glenn Taylor Jr. has committed to St. John’s, he announced Monday.
The 6-foot-6 Las Vegas (NV.) native averaged 11.6 points per game last season on 43.1-percent shooting.
In rebuilding the roster, Rick Pitino has now added six transfers — three former Iona players in Daniss Jenkins, Cruz Davis and Quinn Slazinski along with former UConn guard Nahiem Alleyne and former VMI guard Sean Conway.
Speaking during halftime of the Knicks game on Sunday at the Garden, Pitino said he has to “build a brand through your defense and through people who really want to be at St. John’s.”
