Three-star 2025 forward Aaron Womack has committed to Syracuse, according to On3’s Joe Tipton. Womack was on SU’s campus this past weekend for an official visit and committed to the Orange after receiving an offer. He’s the second player to join SU’s 2025 class, alongside five-star forward Sadiq White, who committed on May 29.
“Coach Autry and the staff see so much potential in me and I trust that they will be able to coach and teach me so much,” Womack told Tipton.
Womack stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs 170 pounds. He hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and attends Dominican High School. As a junior, the forward showed off his scoring ability, averaging 21.9 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. During his first three years of high school, Womack earned first-team all-league in the Metro Classic Conference. He is entering his senior season with 1,520 career points.
For AAU, Womack played on the Under Armour circuit with Wisconsin Playground. He impressed with his elite shotmaking, garnering interest from several mid-major schools like Milwaukee, Murray State, Illinois State, Green Bay, Southern Utah and Buffalo. Syracuse was the first Power Five school to offer him, and he took it.
Along with Womack, Syracuse is currently pursuing recruits like Kiyan Anthony, Shon Abaev and Tyler Jackson as it looks to bolster its 2025 recruiting class.
