Syracuse is looking for a return to form next season.
Georgia Tech transfer Nait George will be heading to Syracuse next season, he announced on Friday.
The 6-foot-3 guard averaged 12 points, 4 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game in his sophomore season. His 6.5 assists had him ranked in the top 10 in the country in dishes. He played the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Georgia Tech.
George will remain in the ACC as he heads to Syracuse to play for head coach Adrian Autry. He will be joining some exciting new prospects in Kiyan Anthony, son of now Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony, and Five-star forward Sadiq White Jr. both of whom are eager to “going up there asap,” Kiyan Anthony told ZAGSBLOG on Thursday.
Syracuse has long been searching for something to get their fans excited about and this may be the recipe to do so starting next season.
