We provide our guests with some tourist suggestions
The Syracuse Orange host the Stanford Cardinal tomorrow night in the Dome. Since the Cardinal haven’t started classes, they took an early trip East to adjust to the time zone difference.
But what do you do with an extra day in Central New York when you have no school work to do? We’ve got some ideas…
Get a real slice of American History
This is a fabulous opportunity for players to go to Auburn and visit the Harriet Tubman House in Auburn. Spend the day out walking the Underground Railroad Tour in and around Auburn and get some culture. Get some fresh air and sun by participating in an archaeological dig.
Go see some real trees in the Adirondacks
You could spend time with that weirdo tree mascot of yours or you could take a little bus trip to any number of state parks in the Adirondacks. This would be a good time to start your journey to become a 46er or if that’s not your speed, head to Lake Placid and check out the bobsled run.
Spend the day at Turning Stone
You probably have a lot of future finance bros on the roster so take that per diem and bet it all on Red. And if you don’t have success at Turning Stone, move on over to Yellow Brick Road or Point Place and try your luck there.
We hope you don’t just spend the day watching film and getting treatment. Who knows when the ACC will send you back this way and we’d like you to get the most out of your trip.
