Syracuse football: Orange to wear classic home look for second week in a row

Dress like Freeney, play like Freeney

For the second week in a row, the Syracuse Orange football squad will take the field in the JMA Wireless Dome in the traditional home uniform to face the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Since we know Syracuse won last week wearing this fit, it’s easy to report that the Orange are 1-0 wearing the Orange/Blue/Orange combination. We don’t know yet what hat(s) Fran Brown will be wearing, but trust that our staff will have eyes on the sideline all afternoon.

The uniforms will match the planned Blue Out in the student section so if you’re in the Dome you can match Otto’s Army and the team.

There is also a planned Dwight Freeney giveaway so arrive early and get your spot for the Quad Walk, meet some athletes from the hockey squads, and check out The Pride of the Orange before this ACC battle kicks off at Noon.
