The next group of Orange continues to grow
The Syracuse Orange football staff continues to build next season’s roster. Earlier this week, the Orange received a commitment from 2025 linebacker/running back William “Trey” Dudley from Ashburn, Virginia.

The 6’1” 215 pound Dudley was committed to James Madison as a running back, but after visiting last week, he flipped to Syracuse where he plans to start off as a linebacker. He’s a three-star recruit who is ranked as one of the top 50 players in Virginia by On3 and 247.
Here’s a look at Dudley in action
Syracuse now has 33 commits in the 2025 class, which is ranked 35th by 247 and 44th by On3.
