Two four-stars will be coming to town
The Syracuse Orange coaching continues to swing big on the recruiting trail and it’s at least keeping the Orange in the mix.
2026 defensive lineman James Johnson from North Fort Myers, Florida will take an official visit to Syracuse in May.

Johnson is a four-star recruit who’s rated the 10th best prospect in his class in Florida by On3, and 26th by 247. He’ll be joined in Syracuse that weekend at the end of May by another four-star, safety Andre Clarke of Richmond, Virginia.

Clarke is rated as a top-10 player in Virginia in his class and one of the top 15 safeties in the 2026 class. The Orange are up against some big names for both players, but it’s a good sign that Fran Brown and staff are in the mix with recruits of this caliber.
