In this week’s SP+ rankings Syracuse moves up 19 to the 49th spot with the offense 45th while the defense ranks 53rd. The Orange are ranked between Florida State and Illinois. UNLV is ranked 54th with their offense 30th and defense 80th.
The Football Power Index drops Syracuse a spot to 69th place (nice) between South Alabama and Mississippi State. FPI predicts the Orange for 5.5 wins and gives them a 48.5% chance of making a bowl game. UNLV is ranked 35th so a road win would for the Orange would flip these predictions significantly.

Andrea Adelson has Syracuse staying in 11th between Cal and Georgia Tech.
Eric Mac Lain drops Syracuse to 9th between Stanford and California.
CBS Sports
In the CBS Sports power rankings Syracuse is down 7 to 47th between Michigan State and Memphis. UNLV is 24th this week.
The Athletic
The Orange drops 2 spots to 48th in The Athletic’s Top 134 Power Rankings placing them in between Tulane and Georgia Tech. UNLV is 23rd this week.
AP and Coaches Poll
No votes for the Orange this week. UNLV is ranked 25th in the AP Poll and 23rd in the Coaches Poll.
