Syracuse men’s basketball recruiting: 2025 commits Sadiq White, Jr and Kiyan Anthony prepare for City of Palms Classic

The future Orange are helping lead some of top HS teams

While Syracuse Orange fans grow impatient with the current men’s basketball season, there might be more help on the way next season.

5-star recruit Sadiq White is one of the top players for IMG Academy, who are ranked #1 in the country this week by Paul Biancardi of ESPN. IMG knocked off Oak Hill Academy last week with White scoring 14 points and grabbing 9 rebounds and having 4 blocked shots. White’s high ranking stems a lot from his all-around ability which will be a welcome addition to next year’s Orange squad.

White and IMG are back at the City of Palms Classic in Ft. Myers, Florida this week where they will be joined by fellow Orange commit Kiyan Anthony and his LuHi squad. They will be facing some of the top players and teams in the country including the Christopher Columbus High School squad featuring the Boozer twins, Mater Dei, Monteverde, La Lumiere and more. The tournament runs Dec. 18-23 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena on Florida SouthWestern’s campus.
