Already surpassed the week’s expectations
This week we asked Syracuse Orange fans how they felt about this big week of games for men’s and women’s basketball. A slight majority said the Orange would combine for one win, but with home victories over NC State and Pitt, the teams head into this weekend with at least a 2-2 record secured.
We’ll find if the Orange can reward the 3% who believed in the Cuse.
Both Syracuse lacrosse teams have two losses on the season, but it’s clear more concern lies with the men. Each team is dealing with injury issues, but the men had higher expectations entering the year, so it makes sense that fans are more worried about them right now.
We’re giving you one of the national responses because it’s relevant to Syracuse. Despite only having a one game lead, the Duke Blue Devils are the overwhelming favorite (-750 odds on FanDuel) to take the ACC MBB regular season title.
Duke finishes with Florida State, Wake Forest and UNC and with those last two teams desperate for a resume win, it’ll be a tough close for the Blue Devils.
