Syracuse add some size to the frontcourt
The Syracuse Orange women’s basketball team continues to rebuild the frontcourt before the 25-26 season.
On Tuesday, Talia Goodman reported that the Orange have added transfer Oyindamola Akinbolawa from Auburn.
BREAKING: Auburn transfer Oyindamola Akinbolawa has committed to Syracuse, sources told @On3sports.
The 6-5 center averaged 3.4 ppg and 3.6 rpg this season.

The 6’5 center Akinbolawa played three seasons for Auburn and started 15 games last season. The Lagos, Nigeria native was thought to be down to Arizona State and Washington, but will instead head to the Orange for the 25-26 season.
Akinbolawa only averaged 16.6 minutes per game last season so the hope is that production would increase with more playing time.
It appears the Orange have one more open spot and a report from syracuse.com linked the team to a potential power forward/center from Asia, so we’ll keep an eye out for more news on that front.
