One spot in Charlotte is still up for grabs
At the request of Syracuse Orange fans, we’re going to give you our ACC Football Power Rankings. Let’s get to this week’s list as we head into the final week of the regular season
1) SMU Mustangs (10-1, 7-0)- heading to Charlotte in their first season in the league. Not a bad debut.
2) Miami Hurricanes (10-1, 6-1)- Cam Ward vs Kyle McCord could be quite the duel next Saturday
3) Clemson Tigers (9-2, 7-1)- Clemson can end South Carolina’s CFP hopes and put themselves in the mix with a win. For one week ACC fans might be rooting for Dabo….might be.
4) Duke Blue Devils (8-3, 4-3)- really strong season for Manny Diaz and it would be smart for his agent to try and get an extension now
5) Syracuse Orange (8-3, 4-3) – crazy that this is Miami’s first ACC visit to Syracuse
6) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (7-4, 5-3)- have the chance on Friday to do one of the funniest things ever and make Greg Sankey big mad
7) Louisville Cardinals (7-4, 5-3)- another shot for the ACC to take down the mighty SEC
8) Pittsburgh Panthers (7-4, 3-4)- let that be a lesson to everyone, don’t beat Syracuse in dominating fashion, or else it will ruin your season.
9) Boston College Eagles (6-5, 3-4)- bowl eligibility for BoB in year one. Death, taxes and BC football winning 6-7 games.
10) North Carolina Tar Heels (6-5, 3-4)-
11) California Golden Bears (6-5, 2-5)- Mendoza better file for a trademark on “98 yards with my boys” before all the shady t-shirt folks get to it
Cal quarterback Fernando Mendoza was emotional after beating Stanford.
“I LOVE MY BOYS. IT’S AMAZING. I’M SO PROUD OF EVERYONE ON THIS TEAM. WE’RE 6-6, WE’RE BOWL BOUND AND WE RETAINED THE AXE. GO BEARS FOREVER.”pic.twitter.com/u6ANB3SRgJ

12) Virginia Cavaliers (5-6, 3-4) – yeah it’s a pretty big game in Virginia this week
13) Virginia Tech Hokies (5-6, 3-4) – another close loss for the Hokies and Brent Pry might be coaching for his job this weekend
14) NC State Wolfpack (5-6, 2-5)- can they beat that team from Chapel Hill and get bowl eligible?
15) Wake Forest Demon Deacons (4-7, 2-5)- next year’s going to be pretty important for Dave Clawson
16) Stanford Cardinal (3-8, 2-6) – pretty tough way to lose a rivalry game.
17) Florida State Seminoles (2-9, 1-7) – after what Florida’s done the last two weeks, a win for FSU would lead to some real spin work by the SEC media
