Are ACC refs going to cost the league a 2nd playoff team
At the request of Syracuse Orange fans, we’re going to give you our ACC Football Power Rankings. Let’s get to this week’s list….
1) Miami Hurricanes (6-0, 2-0)- Miami had a bye and they head to Louisville next week where the Canes will be on Upset Alert for sure.
2) Clemson Tigers (5-1, 4-0)- The Tigers offense has been humming the last few weeks with 177 points scored in ACC play.
3) Pittsburgh Panthers (6-0, 2-0)-
The world is not ready for 5-1 Syracuse at 6-0 Pitt in 10 days on a cold, Thursday night in the Steel City.@NunesMagician

4) SMU Mustangs (5-1, 2-0)- winning at Louisville is still worth something and SMU is proving to be a good addition to the ACC so far.
5) Syracuse Orange (5-1, 2-1) – the Orange won on the road in Raleigh against NC State and the ACC refs
On review, this TD was allowed to stand by NC State against Syracuse. What do I say? There’s no refs like ACC refs. pic.twitter.com/5rdaRhRUoZ

6) Louisville Cardinals (4-2, 2-1)- Louisville’s got a shot at getting back in the ACC race when they host Miami and the ACC Refs in a Triple Threat match.
7) Virginia Cavaliers (4-2, 2-1) – with games left with Clemson, UNC, Notre Dame, SMU, Pitt and Virginia Tech, can they get the two wins to become bowl eligible? Well actually it’ll be one more win beyond UNC, but it’s going to be close and Syracuse fans know how that next 6 weeks feels.
8) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (5-2, 3-2)- must be nice knowing that your former HC is so inept that you trust your team to run the ball from your side of the 50 in the final minute in a tie game.
9) Boston College Eagles (4-2, 1-1)- BC fans haven’t been this excited about a Thursday night game in Blacksburg since the days of Matty Ice.
10) Virginia Tech Hokies (3-3, 1-1) – this Thursday night game feels like it’s when we find out if the Hokies are better than we think, or in the market for a new HC.
11) Duke Blue Devils (5-1, 1-1)- well if Manny Diaz stumbles a bit now it’ll be ok because everyone at Duke has turned their attention to Cooper Flagg now.
12) Stanford Cardinal (2-4, 1-2) – yes Syracuse fans, we can wish for that Stanford game back. It’s harder to win games when you have to start going to class and doing homework.
13) California Golden Bears (3-3, 0-3)- the Calgorithm wasn’t ready for the Yinzers.
14) Wake Forest Demon Deacons (2-4, 1-2)- when was the last time Wake fans had two seasons in a row where they were anxious for basketball season to start.
15) Florida State Seminoles (1-5, 1-4) – Mike Norvell saw Mark Stoops use this and now he’ll have in the holster in case the ‘Noles lose to Duke
Mark Stoops: “You know Vandy went out and made it happen with the NIL. Do you see the amount of publicity Diego is getting? Once we get a NIL support system like that we will be able to compete in the SEC.” pic.twitter.com/oytEQIJiqS

16) NC State Wolfpack (3-4, 0-3)- CJ Bailey looks legit so of course NC State fans will need to spend the next 2-3 months worried that one of the SEC schools will come calling in the portal
17) North Carolina Tar Heels (3-4, 0-3)- no seriously does Roy Williams want to just take over for the rest of the season?
