Braylon Mullins, Darius Adams and Eric Reibe were all named to the prestigious high school All-American game.
UConn men’s basketball’s incoming recruiting class got even more positive recognition Monday as three of the team’s top incoming recruits — Braylon Mullins, Darius Adams and Eric Reibe — were all named to the 2025 McDonald’s All-American Game. It marks the first time in program history that the Huskies had three commits named to the roster, and the team’s three selections tie UConn with Duke for the most this year. Adams, Mullins and Reibe will represent the East in the matchup, which will take place on April 1, 2025 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The trio marks the first time UConn has had multiple All-American selections in the same year since Taliek Brown and Scott Hazelton did so in 2000, and the first time ever that UConn has been represented in three-straight seasons. Liam McNeeley was the MVP of the McDonald’s All-American Game last season, while Stephon Castle represented the Huskies in the 2023 matchup.
With Adams, Mullins and Reine’s respective honors, UConn now boasts 15 McDonald’s All-Americans in program history, five of which have come to UConn during Dan Hurley’s seven-year tenure as head coach.
UConn’s 3 McD’s All-Americans are most ever for program in one year. Previous best was 2 in 2000 (Taliek Brown, Scott Hazelton).
Also first time UConn has added at least one to roster three years in a row: (Castle ’23, McNeeley ’24, Mullins, Reibe, Adams ’25).

UConn currently boasts the No. 3 recruiting class for 2025 according to 247Sports, trailing just Duke and Houston. Mullins currently ranks as the No. 13 player in the 2025 class, followed by Adams at No. 25, Reibe at No. 31 and Australian Jacob Furphy at No. 94. With the exception of Furphy, who is ineligible for McDonald’s All-American honors as an international player, all three eligible recruits were named McDonald’s All-Americans.
The Huskies are technically over the 14 scholarship limit for next season, but that number is expected to jump to 15 officially in the near future. That being said, Hurley is likely done adding to this stacked 2025 recruiting that will arrive in Storrs as one of the best in program history.
GRID UPDATE
A surprise grid update with the commitment of Australian wing Jacob Furphy.
Scholarship limit expected to jump to 15 next year, but not official yet, so @UConnMBB is literally overflowing with unbelievable talent for 2025.
