The Huskies are up to eight games in 2028.
UConn football continues to fill out its future game schedules, announcing Thursday an away game at Syracuse in 2028.
The game, officially slated for November 11, 2028, slots in between a home bout against Pittsburgh on November 4 and a tough SEC matchup at Ole Miss on November 18. UConn is now set to play the Orange once each year for the next five years, starting next Saturday when the Huskies travel to Syracuse for a 12 p.m. kickoff.
This brings UConn’s 2028 schedule to eight confirmed games, with just four remaining to be announced.
UConn last faced Syracuse in 2022, losing 48-14. Syracuse has beaten the Huskies four straight times, which stopped a five-game UConn winning streak, which dated back to 2007. That 2007 game is one of just two wins the Huskies have as a ranked team. Overall, the Orange and UConn are 6-6 since their first meeting in 2004.
