The Big East released the schedule for the 2024-2025 men’s basketball season, giving us the first full look at UConn’s conference slate for the winter.
Dan Hurley and the Huskies will open league play at home on Wednesday, December 18 against Xavier, followed by a visit to Butler and a New Year’s Day date at DePaul.
After hosting Providence, UConn will visit Villanova at Finneran Pavilion on January 8 on the school’s campus, instead of the Wells Fargo Center in the city as it had in the previous three years.
The Huskies will play Marquette for the first time on the road, in Milwaukee on Saturday, February 1. Later that month, the road game at St. John’s on Sunday, February 23 will be at MSG. After a March 1 trip to Providence, Marquette will make its return visit on Tuesday, March 4 and then the season will close with a game against Seton Hall in Connecticut.
