The Sun will need a win in their final game now to clinch the third seed in the playoffs.
Bridget Carlton’s three-pointer with 3.4 seconds left turned out to be the difference as the Minnesota Lynx beat the Connecticut Sun, 78-76, to clinch the two seed in the 2024 WNBA Playoffs on Tuesday night.
Former UConn star Napheesa Collier led all scorers in the game with 25 points for the Lynx. Dorka Juhász did not play in the game with a right foot injury. The Sun’s lone Husky, Olivia Nelson-Ododa, had two points in just two plus minutes of action.
