Seven-year NFL veteran offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor signed a new contract with the New York Giants. Eluemunor, a former fifth-round pick, spent the 2023 season with the Las Vegas Raiders but has also played for the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots.

Jermaine Eluemunor, New York Giants, Agree to Contract
After bouncing around early in his career, Jermaine Eluemunor has firmly established himself as a reliable starter over the past few years. During his age-29 season, the offensive lineman appeared in all 17 games while making 14 starts while playing both tackle positions. He remained consistent throughout the year, both with Josh McDaniels and Antonio Pierce at head coach.
Jermaine Eluemunor originally entered the league as a fifth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Selected by the Baltimore Ravens, the Texas A&M product spent the majority of his rookie year in a reserve role. Appearing in eight games, the rookie finished his inaugural season by playing in 198 snaps, 197 of which came at right guard.
Prior to the start of the 2019 season, the Ravens traded Eluemunor and a sixth-round pick to the New England Patriots in exchange for a fourth-round selection. While he hardly saw the field in 2019, he earned a major role on the 2020 Patriots. Overall, the offensive lineman appeared in 12 games while making eight starts at both tackle positions.
Jermaine Eluemunor hit free agency following the season and signed with the Miami Dolphins. However, he didn’t make the roster and spent the early part of the year without a team. Eventually, he signed with the Las Vegas Raiders and made three starts at guard.
The Texas A&M product finally made a name for himself in 2022. Starting all 17 games at right tackle, Jermaine Eluemunor helped provide keep Derek Carr and, eventually, Jarrett Stidham upright throughout the season. He proved he was no fluke in 2023 with yet another solid campaign.
