Chad Hall joins Brian Daboll’s staff
New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll have reached into their past affiliation with the Buffalo Bills to hir a new assistant quarterbacks coach.
The Giants are hiring Chad Hall to replace Christian Jones, who recently left the Giants to join Kevin Stefanski’s staff with the Cleveland Browns.
Hall, 38, was with the Bills from 2017 through 2022. From 2019-2022, he was Buffalo’s wide receivers coach. Daboll, of course, was the Bills’ offensive coordinator from 2018-2021. Schoen was the team’s assistant GM from 2017-2021.
Hall spent the last two seasons as wide receivers coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Hall played in 25 NFL games from 2010-2013, catching 16 passes in 24 games for the Philadelphia Eagles, Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about Hall is that he is the brother-in-law of current Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who some believe could be a target for the Giants this offseason.
