Second half
Drew Lock has come alive and the Giants are showing fight in the fourth quarter. He’s made some nice throws on broken plays before running in a touchdown to bring the Giants within 7 of the Cowboys as we hit the 2-minute warning.
The Giants get some production on offense, with a drive culminating in a Graham Gano field goal. Dallas leads 27-13 in the second half.
FG.

The rout might be on as the Cowboys score again to go up 27-10
Rico Dowdle TD. Bunch of huge penalties on the drive by Giants defense.
Another debacle.

The Cowboys escaped turning the ball back over by a fraction of a second. That was followed by a touchdown on the next play. Dallas leads 20-10 with 11:37 left in the third quarter.
These teams deserve each other. Bobby Okereke with a patented punch out. But looks like Rush’s knee was down.

The Giants got the opening kickoff for the second half, and got off to a methodical start with two runs for a total of 8 yards. Then disaster struck when Drew Lock fumbled trying to scramble for the first down.
The Giants and Cowboys both go scoreless over the course of 2 minutes that lasted about 20 in real time. The Giants will get the ball to start the second half.
The Giants got the ball at the two-minute warning. They went three and out and ran 21 seconds off the clock The Cowboys then went three and out and ran 24 seconds off the clock. The Giants then got the ball and gained 18 yards before letting the clock run out after taking a sack.…

CeeDee Lamb drops another pass, while a penalty moves the Cowboys back. The Giants get away with off-sides penalties on Micah McFadden (declined) and Kayvon Thibodeaux (accepted) and force a punt as we go to the 2:00 warning.
Cowboys fans booing Mike McCarthy’s 3rd down draw call loudly. Brian Burns hobbles off after the stop. Dallas punting

The Giants catch a major break when a wide-open CeeDee Lamb drops a well-placed pass from Cooper Rush on 3rd down. They get the stop on the ensuing 4th down, giving them the ball in Dallas territory.
Tyler Nubin with a good hit on a fourth-down stop. Dexter Lawrence great push in the backfield. Chance for the Giants here midway through second quarter in Cowboys territory. Can’t waste it.

So that happened. Cowboys linebacker Demarvion Overshown deflected a Giants screen pass intended for Devin Singletary, only to catch it himself then return it for a touchdown.
WHAT A PLAY BY OVERSHOWN.

Red sea parts with Dallas running a draw on second-and-21. Cor’Dale Flott shaken up on the tackle after Dowdle picked up the first down.
— Dan Duggan (@DDuggan21) November 28, 2024
Flott coming back in for the start of the second quarter. Might have gotten the wind knocked out of him based on the quick transition from significant pain to totally fine.

The Giants get a lead for the first time in… A long time. The Giants went very run heavy, calling just four passes to nine carries on their opening drive. Drew Lock took the ball to the goal line himself with a scramble after seemingly be sacked on a 3rd and 6. His scramble was initially ruled in for the touchdown, but was ultimately ruled out of bounds.
Like I said, chaos. The pocket collapsed on Drew Lock and he escaped into a wide-open field … and just kept running for a 29-yard touchdown. They’re reviewing it now.

The Giants got the Cowboys to third down and seemingly got off the field, but an off-sides penalty by Kayvon Thibodeaux gave them new life. A big play by CeeDee Lamb later, and Dallas finished the drive with a field goal.
Bad teams do what bad teams do. Should have been a three-and-out but … Kayvon Thibideaux jumps offsides on third down. Dallas then flies down field. At least 4 or 5 missed tackles on drive by Giants defense.
One positive: They hold Cowboys to FG.

The Cowboys got the ball to start the game, after the Giants won the coin toss and opted to defer.
Dexter Lawrence calls tails. It’s a turkey (tails) on the commemorative Thanksgiving Day coin. Giants defer. Cowboys start with the ball
