NFL players aren’t the only ones who have been hitting the gym this offseason as one head coach appears to have slimmed down significantly in recent months.
During his Friday press conference, New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll was looking noticeably thinner to many of the fans and analysts who saw him speak. For many years, Daboll has been sporting a fairly round belly that would have made Rex Ryan jealous back in 2009.
“#Giants HC Brian Daboll addressing media here to begin rookie camp. Said this weekend will be largely individual drills, 7-on-7 work. Side note: Daboll’s clearly cut some weight this offseason,” SNY’s Connor Hughes noted.
Take a look for yourself.

Compare that now with how Daboll looked back in 2022 when he was in his first season with the Giants and it’s clear that the 2022 NFL Coach of the Year has been working to shed a few pounds recently.
Patricia Traina of GiantsCountry.com said that Daboll attributed his recent weight loss to a weight loss competition he was a part of during the offseason.
“Brian Daboll has dropped quite a bit of weight. Said they had a weight loss competition during the off season,” Traina posted on X.
Whether Daboll won the contest or not, he clearly won from a health perspective.
