Talk about all of Day 2’s action
The New York Giants have been the talk of the 2025 NFL Draft for months now.
The Giants made one of the biggest splashes of the draft on Day 1 in selecting Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter and Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.
We’ll have to wait and see how the picks pan out, but this may have been a franchise altering draft.
At the very least the Giants altered their Friday. They traded their second round pick and the 99th overall pick — a third round compensatory pick — to the Houston Texans for the 25th overall pick. They used that pick to select Dart, while managing to keep the 65th overall pick.
Barring a trade, the Giants won’t be making a pick in the second round. However, the 65th pick is the first pick in the third round.
