Tommy DeVito’s agent, Sean Stellato, is making headlines this week for an unlikely reason. In a bizarre turn of events, he had a friendly chat with the Pope this week.
Stellato’s encounter with the Pope took place this Wednesday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted that Stellato gave the Pope a custom football with the coat of arms emblem on it.
A photo of this interaction is going viral on social media.

DeVito finished his rookie season with 1,101 passing yards, eight touchdown passes and three interceptions. He also had 195 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
The highlight of DeVito’s 2023 campaign was his game-winning drive against the Green Bay Packers on Dec. 11. That game was nationally televised on ESPN.
Stellato, on the other hand, became a fan favorite due to his moxie and bold outfit choices.
“I love Sean. He’s such a hustler. He’s one of those dudes who will work harder than anybody to make sure that you know his client’s name,” Peter Schrager said when describing Stellato. “His client is not going to be the starting quarterback from the national championship-winning team. Or the Heisman Trophy winner. His client is going to be the undersized corner. Or the quarterback who’s going to go undrafted. He’s going to do everything in his power to make you aware of his client.”
It’s pretty apparent that Stellato has overcome the odds.
