The head coach isn’t talking rebuild.
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn spoke to the media during a press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. He had some strong words about the team’s goals.

I think any objective observer would admit the Jets face challenges building the team in 2025. The Jets will spend much of this offseason digging out of the salary cap mess left by chasing the Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers the last two years.
That said, I have seen teams achieve successful seasons with far less talent than the Jets currently have on their roster. Good coaching and a bit of luck from the injury gods and schedule makers can make a tangible difference.
I struggle to understand the mindset I see from some quarters of the media that moving on from Rodgers will bring impending doom. The Jets went 5-12 with Rodgers last year, and his play was pedestrian. A change at quarterback certainly doesn’t guarantee a season at the bottom of the NFL.
