New York Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said he feels “angry” and “frustrated” as his team heads into the bye week at a 3-8 record.
Those feelings are understandable.
But quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he’s going to hope his teammates and himself can go in the opposite direction with their time off.
After a poor showing in the late stages in a 28-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Rodgers said he’s looking forward to escaping and regrouping.
“This’ll definitely be a week to clear all our heads,” Rodgers said.
Since his comment, it might be harder to do so. General manager Joe Douglas was fired and the future of many in New York’s locker room might have drastically changed with that decision.
But hopefully some reflection can still be done.
