The New York Jets thought they had their quarterback situation figured out in 2023 when they acquired Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers. They then watched as their fortunes changed in a matter of four plays, when Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles tear. The Jets had no real No. 2 option, and as a result, their season crumbled.
Rodgers is back and the Jets also took care of the backup position as well, signing Tyrod Taylor. New York also drafted Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis in the fifth round in April. Do the Jets now have a legitimate group of quarterbacks relative to the rest of the league?
