Jets running back Breece Hall doesn’t seem to be sweating Aaron Rodgers’ unexcused absence from the team’s mandatory minicamp on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media after New York’s practice, the former second-round pick said that he doesn’t question the QB’s commitment to what the franchise is trying to accomplish.
“He’s still trying to come back, still get back to feeling right from his injury and everything. I know he’s working his tail off,” Hall told reporters. “Whether he’s here or not, I know he’s all in.”
Rodgers was a no-show at Jets minicamp for what coach Robert Saleh said was an event that was “important to him.”

Earlier this year, Rodgers had gotten on his teammates and the organization during their exit interviews.
Telling them: “Anything in this building that we’re doing individually or collectively that has nothing to do with real winning needs to be assessed. If you want to be a winning organization and put yourself in position to win championships and be competitive, everything that you do matters. And the [expletive] that has nothing to do with winning needs to get out of the building.”
Obviously, Rodgers’ recent actions appear to run counter to those statements. But if his teammates aren’t giving him the side-eye than it may not be a big deal for the four-time MVP.
