New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is trending on social media this week because of a video that was captured at OTAs.
Coming into May, the Jets said Rodgers would have no physical restrictions from his Achilles surgery. However, a video shared by SNY showed him getting treatment done on his feet.
Naturally, Jets fans started worrying about Rodgers’ status for Week 1.
“He’s laboring Rodgers is only 9 months post surgery. Why is he forcing the issue now? Wait until July man,” Jason McIntyre said after seeing this video.
“Is this what it’s going to be like all summer,” a fan said. “Rodgers gets a blister and you send the fan base into panic?”
“He looks gimpy to me,” another person wrote.
Jesse Morse, a Sports Medicine Specialist in Florida, claims this is “completely normal” and Jets fans have nothing to be worried about. We’re not sure if that’ll ease fans’ concerns though.

Rodgers will most likely face questions about this video in the coming days. It’ll be interesting to hear what he has to say.
If the Jets are going to be Super Bowl contenders this fall, they’ll need Rodgers at full strength. And even that might not be enough since the AFC is loaded.
The Jets will open the season on the road against the San Francisco 49ers.
